Disc Brake Conversion

Factory drum brakes were adequate in 1965. Modern traffic is not 1965. We convert classics to four-wheel disc brake systems using period-correct or aftermarket kits that stop confidently without altering the original character of the car.

We work with the leading conversion suppliers and spec the right kit for your specific model, usage, and budget.

  • Front and four-wheel conversion packages
  • Power booster and master cylinder upgrades
  • Proportioning valve calibration
  • Stainless steel brake line replacement
  • Full bleed and road test

03

Air Conditioning

Texas heat is no place for a classic without A/C. We restore original factory air conditioning systems and retrofit modern R-134a upgrades that blend into the engine bay without compromising authenticity.

Whether you have a factory Frigidaire, dealer-installed Hang-On, or a blank firewall, we have a solution that works for your specific vehicle.

  • Factory A/C system restoration
  • R-134a modern refrigerant conversion
  • Evaporator, condenser, and compressor replacement
  • Complete leak testing and charge
  • Aftermarket add-on systems for non-A/C cars

Paint & Bodywork

From a stone chip on a door to a full bare-metal respray, we handle all body and paint work in-house. Our process starts with thorough metalwork — every panel is properly prepped before a drop of primer goes on.

We match factory color codes using period-correct formulas, or work with you on a custom direction that respects the car's character.

  • Panel straightening and metalwork
  • Rust cut-out and patch panel fabrication
  • Epoxy primer and proper prep
  • Factory color code matching
  • Full respray and spot repairs

Interior & Upholstery

The interior is where you spend every minute behind the wheel — it should look and feel the part. We handle complete interior restorations from factory-correct reproductions to custom premium builds.

Seats, door panels, headliners, carpet, dash pads, and trim are all sourced and installed in-house or with local specialists we personally oversee.

  • Seat recovering and foam restoration
  • Door panel rebuilds and armrests
  • Headliner replacement (cloth, vinyl, suede)
  • Molded carpet replacement
  • Dash pad and trim restoration
CNC machining and custom fabrication

06

Custom Fabrication

When a part has been out of production for 40 years, most shops tell you they can't help. We go the other direction. Our in-house fabrication capabilities — CNC machining, 3D printing, and laser cutting — mean we can manufacture what no longer exists.

This is one of the clearest advantages of working with a specialist shop. We've invested in the tooling specifically to serve pre-1986 vehicles that have exhausted the aftermarket.

  • CNC-machined replacement parts to OEM spec
  • 3D-printed prototypes and hard-to-find brackets
  • Laser-cut panels, templates, and trim pieces
  • Custom one-off fabrication for show and race builds
  • Reproduction parts from original samples

Reliability Upgrades

A classic car that leaves you stranded is not being enjoyed — it's being worried about. Our reliability packages modernize the systems that fail most often on vintage vehicles, without changing the driving character you love.

These upgrades are especially popular with drivers who want to use their classics regularly without carrying a breakdown kit.

  • One-wire alternator and charging system upgrade
  • Modern wiring harness (keeping period appearance)
  • High-flow cooling system and electric fan
  • Pertronix or electronic ignition conversion
  • Fuel system modernization (EFI or carb rebuild)

08

Engine & Drivetrain

From a carb rebuild to a complete engine teardown, we handle the full spectrum of powerplant work on pre-1986 vehicles. Our technicians understand the specific quirks of classic American V8s, inline-sixes, and the period transmissions that back them.

We do not source work out blindly — every job is estimated and approved before it starts, and you're consulted at any decision point that affects scope or cost.

  • Carburetor rebuilds and tuning
  • Engine teardown, machine work, and assembly
  • Manual and automatic transmission rebuild
  • Differential service and rebuild
  • Clutch, driveshaft, and U-joint service
